Message from Gwen Walter:
We are happy to announce that HPL completed Fiscal Year 2015
with an outstanding safety record! Our incident rates decreased from Fiscal
Year 2014. Way to go! To celebrate this wonderful achievement every HPL employee
will receive a portable power bank, as shown below, as a token of appreciation
for your efforts in keeping our safety record stellar! They will be distributed
next week.
In addition, we now have 159 Safe Workers of the Year! All of
these HPL Staffers have had 10 to 25 continuous years or more without
experiencing an on-the-job injury. This tremendous safety achievement,
certainly deserves our applause. Check

Let’s continue to make conscious efforts daily to watch our footing as we
walk in and out of our buildings. Trips, slips and falls are our leading
indicators for incidents. Remember to watch your step as you keep it moving!
