Floats from Blue Ridge

Message from Sally:

Hello,
As you know, BLU is going to be renovated to include a WIC center, such that a large part of their collection must go.  CD and BLU staff have been working extremely hard to clear out items so that we are prepared for the reduction in shelving.  Rather than floating materials through LMS-FLOAT (an additional step) we are floating many items directly from BLU.  This is why some locations will receive items directly from them.  Note that if the item is marked as a replacement, your copy has circulated so many times per Collection HQ that you almost certainly need a copy with fewer circulations.
If you have any questions, please contact me or other CD staff.
As mentioned previously, as you do your Collection HQ rebalancing, please choose the BLU copy.  If you have particular needs for items, especially in adult, you may ask for items to be floated directly from BLU in those categories.  Please contact John Merullo or Craig Bertuglia directly with those requests.
Thanks for helping us with this major project!

New AC Contractor

Message from Karrington:

Hello,

I had a meeting with GSD and I was informed that today (9/30/15) will be Johnson Controls (JCI) last day. The new contractor is TDI and will be starting tomorrow, October 1st. TDI has made some site visits so some of you may have seen or even met some of their techs. I have not received the emergency contact number for handling after hours HVAC issues but I should have that information in the next week or so. In the meantime please contact the GSD Property Management On Call After Hours Contact number (713.213.8776) for any issues after 4pm as well as call or send me an email so I can address it. I have also sent IT an update for the Sprocket Work Order Instructions. Hopefully this transition will be as smooth as possible.
