Year of the Monkey!!
As we know, the Chinese
and Vietnamese Lunar New Year is based on lunar cycle that falls between
January 21 and February 20 on the Gregorian calendar. We, the WAL and SWX group
libraries are honored to host the 2016, Year of the Monkey Lunar New Year
celebration on Saturday, January 23 from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm at 7660 Clarewood
Dr. Houston TX 77036.
I have been working on
the logistic plans and creating the HPL promotional flyers and posters for this
special event this week. Marjorie D. Gonzalez (Communication) will
promote this event through HPL social media channels such as Facebook,
Twitter and on the day of the event (or even while we're preparing for it), on
Instagram.
I want to give all of
you a heads up for the Lunar New Year Celebration event. Please review the
preliminary information for your reference.
