Traffic Alert
There will be heavier traffic than normal and there will be some road closures in the Sharpstown area on Wednesday Morning, March 15th, due to the Funeral Service for Captain William Dowling.
Captain William Dowling’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 15th at Houston Baptist University. Traffic in the area is expected to be heavy and there will be road closures from 8:00AM to Noon on Wednesday. March 15th starting at 8:00 AM the Bellaire/Fondren exit off the North Bound side of 59 will be closed until about 10:00 AM. Feeder street traffic going North from Beechnut intersection on the feeder will be forced onto the freeway. Fondren will be closed in both directions between 59 and Beechnut for the procession coming into the HBU campus.
