Hours Changes Effective July 1 - Kendall & Clayton

This is to let you know that beginning Thursday, July 1, 2010, both Kendall Neighborhood Library and Clayton Library Center for Genealogical Research will change their schedules. Kendall Neighborhood Library will add hours, opening on Saturdays. Clayton Library Center for Genealogical Research will open on Fridays and close on Mondays.

The Kendall Neighborhood Library’s new schedule (effective July 1, 2010) is as follows:

Monday 10 AM – 8 PM

Tuesday 10 AM – 6 PM

Wednesday 10 AM – 6 PM

Thursday 10 AM – 8 PM

Friday 10 AM – 6 PM

Saturday 10 AM – 5 PM

Sunday CLOSED

Kendall Neighborhood Library is located at 609 N. Eldridge, 77079, 832-393-1880.

The Clayton Library Center for Genealogical Research’s new schedule (effective July 1, 2010) is as follows:

Monday CLOSED

Tuesday 10 AM – 6 PM

Wednesday 10 AM – 8 PM

Thursday 10 AM – 6 PM

Friday 10 AM – 5 PM

Saturday 10 AM – 5 PM

Sunday CLOSED

Clayton Library Center for Genealogical Research is located at 5300 Caroline, 77004, 832-393-2600.

Both changes are as a result of ongoing evaluation of the new system wide schedules implemented in April 2010. A formal evaluation of all HPL schedules will be made once an initial six-month-period has passed for an in-depth look at the effectiveness of the new schedules and review of customer feedback.
