The SWMSC is one the 3 locations in Harris County opens daily ( Sept 22 to Oct 5) from 8 am to 7 pm for the Texas D-SNAP [Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program] applications.
Both parking entrances on Sands Point and High Star guarded by the State Troopers, due to the heavy traffic in the area. It becomes very critical to find a parking space on the streets during the day.
When you arrive at work, you will need to show your HPL badge, and tell the officers that you work at the library, so you can park inside the parking lot, if there are spaces.
