A large number of Audio/Visual materials borrowed from another library system are not receiving proper attention during the delivery/transit process. When these items are placed into transit, they should be bubble wrapped and placed into an envelope, or some other method of secure packaging.
Please remind your staff of this policy. If you have any questions, please contact one of us in Interlibrary Loan.
NOTE: So they don't get damaged (then we have to pay for them. . .). Envelopes and bubble wrap are in a box on the workroom table or by the ILL items waiting for pickup at the Info Desk. Karen
