There will be a SirsiDynix Symphony software upgrade
to Service Pack 5 on Tuesday, October 21st beginning at 10:00 PM
Central Time. The upgrade will last until approximately 2:00
AM. Searches may work in the Enterprise catalog while the system is down,
but customers will not be able to place holds or reach their accounts during
that time.
All workstations that have the Workflows software will need
to be upgraded before the libraries open on Wednesday, October 22nd. We
will upgrade the clients remotely. All
computers with a Workflows client should be left ON when you leave the library
on October 21st so staff in IT can push out the upgrade. We
recommend that you bring up your Workflows clients before the
library opens on the 22nd to verify that there are no issues.
