When it says Holiday that is the official city of Houston holiday in which full-time employees receive holiday pay. When it says Closed HPL has decided to also close that day as well but holiday pay is not provided. An employee normally scheduled to work that day would need to make-up the time or use other accrued leave.
Let me know if you have any questions. Please expect an official memo from HPL Communications in the near future about this.
