Volunteer Update: Angelique Ramirez

Hello All,

I have received some reports that this volunteer has been participating in less than acceptable behavior during her time here as a volunteer. I need to clarify some things that she can and cannot do.

First off, she cannot do the following during her working time: use the computers, use her cellphone, leave the library (except to use the bathroom), sit on the couch and hold hands with her boyfriend, sign in and then disappear.Thus, she is allowed to do the following during her working time: shelve books, organize and dust the shelves, help patrons find books, help patrons make reservations to use the computers, direct patrons to various locations or classes.

If she is signed in and not doing what she is supposed to be doing she needs to be informed that she must either leave and sign out, or she will be given something to do. If she does not agree with this then she can no longer volunteer here at our location. Also, please verify the times that she puts on the sign in sheet. I have been told that she has attempted to put down the wrong times.

Once again, if she does not agree to any of these terms then please inform her that she can no longer volunteer at our location. If you have any further questions or need some clarification on anything, please feel free to ask me.
